Top 5 Eczema Products We all become our mothers

New mum critics

The uproar about Zara Phillips feeding her child with one hand and using her phone in the other really got my blood boiling.

These photos from the Daily Mail below that started it all.

If I had a dollar for every time I tried to multi-task with a baby I would be a millionaire!

Would people think that she is a bad mother if she was loading the washing machine whilst holding the baby? Probably not.

Do think just hanging out with your child thinking lovely fairy thoughts whilst feeding is what we have time to do all day? We wish.

Thank god for phones.

My phone has become my best friend.

A line to the outside world in the early days after my daughter was born.  A way to connect with others, ask questions, feel human, feel like there is a life outside feeding and sleeping.

Good on you Zara. Nice to see you are one of us. You are human just trying to get on with your life.

To those critics out there …people are way too critical of new mums. I still really don’t understand why people are so critical as new mums need all our love and support. Not expectation and judgement. So back off, leave mums alon…please! A text message or a call is not a crime and something to help us through it all.

What do you think? Should women try to leave their phone alone whilst tending to their baby? Is multi-tasking something new mothers should avoid?
